It is my distinct honor and pleasure to announce the following individuals for their selection as Fort A.P. Hill Employee of the Month for October 2013 within their respective category.
Mr. Ashley Gray (DPTMS – Category 1): Mr. Gray is recognized for his dedication and superior execution of duties while serving as a Live Fire Coordinator and Range Safety Officer for Range Operations in DPTMS. Mr. Gray has been performing non-supervisory duties at a level that is three grades above his current grade with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
He has lead the FAPH Range Ops team in coordinating and planning numerous live fire operations from Squad to Brigade level to an exceptionally high standard. His dedication to duty and commitment leads the way in Warrior support and ensures AP Hill provides the best training support.
Mr. Dorrance Tucker (DPW – Category 2): Mr. Tucker is recognized for his dedication to service and superior support in critical infrastructure upgrades and repairs to several Garrison facilities. Mr. Tucker has played a critical role in ensuring facility readiness through his extensive efforts as an electronics technician within the Operations and Maintenance Division of the Directorate of Public Works. He responds to trouble calls, after-hours calls, performs maintenance, installs new fire alarm and fire suppression equipments, and performs HVAC repair when needed. His knowledge and dedication demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the safety of installation personnel and the Warriors that train at AP Hill.
Ms. Mary Arcand (DHR – Category 3): Ms. Arcand is recognized for her dedication to our Garrison mission and leadership while performing as the Garrison’s administrative specialist within the Directorate of Human Resources. Ms. Arcand’s proactive approach and focus on mission accomplishment enabled the Garrison to flawlessly support our workforce throughout this challenging period of personnel actions. Her demonstrated care and leadership ensure the highest quality of personnel services and support to our workforce.
On behalf of the Command Group, we would like to congratulate our Employees for their superior service and support of the A.P. Hill mission and America’s Warriors. These Employees consistently displayed superior leadership, technical skill, and performance of duties.
