Police Unity Tour 2016

Pausing for a quick break at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia, some 300 cyclists from across the nation embarked on a 250-mile trek from Portsmouth, Virginia, to the Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial in Washington, D.C., May 11, 2016. Organized in May 1997, the annual Police Unity Ride Tour is part of a nationwide effort to honor and raise awareness of those law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
